Trget picked this up immediately. It didn’t click with me till I went and checked my old perl re notes.

Funnily enough I’ve never had this come up despite my extensive use of regular expressions in word sense disambiguation. I always used \S for crossing newline characters.

I mostly just skimmed it looking for the right info. Guess my regular expressions aren’t really up to scratch. Thanks for pointing it out, thought it was just microsoft going off standard

The “dot” is supposed to match anything except the newline character. It’s pretty standard but does seem to catch a lot of people. Even your article mentions this.

Absolutely and I’m glad you posted this link as looking back over my post it definitely needs some balance. The fact is that the post is mainly dedicated to discussing what waves (excuse the pun) this new venture will make.

This is an alpha release and polish is not to be expected, they gave you no reason to expect it.
Its because of that fact that I won’t be using it for anything more than showing people what is in the future for internet communication and purely social communication.

All my workarounds for blacknight are in http://lacy.ie/blacknight-windows-vps-mssql-and-aspnet/

I no longer use them for asp.net hosting.
Only thing I have on blacknight atm is the blog.
